Creative Communications Assistant

Accountable to: Creative Communications Director

Position Description:
The Creative Communications Assistant works with the Creative Communications department on all printing and finishing requests. The Creative Communications Assistant exists to oversee the production and distribution of the primary communication pieces at Southeast Christian Church.  This person will assist the Creative Communications Department in many ways; creation of materials, proofing/editing, production and distribution.

In a rapidly growing church, communicating with attendees and our unreached community is a growing challenge.  This position will constantly monitor and strategize in the communication arena so that Southeast Christian Church is effectively communicating our events, news and pertinent information to our community with excellence. The Creative Communications Assistant will partner with the Creative Communications Director to raise the level of creativity in marketing, promotion and communication with the end result of relevance and changed lives. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
1.    Assist with production of weekly programs for weekend services.
2.    Utilize graphic design programs to update ministry print materials.
3.    Ensure consistency throughout all graphics and design of Southeast publications, promotions, and marketing in coordination with the
        Creative Communications Director and Creative Communications Associate. 
4.    Coordinate a proofing/editing process of all Southeast communications.
5.    Recruit and train ministry partner teams to serve in the above responsibilities.
6.    Personal Development & Commitment:

       b.    Participate in ministry staff meetings and events.
       c.    Attend Southeast services and events regularly.
       d.    Be committed to personal and professional growth by continuing to develop personal gifts and skills through conferences,
              seminars, classes, etc.

Personal Development and Commitment:
Attend staff training meetings, volunteer regularly and engage in continual personal spiritual growth as a follower of Jesus Christ.

Desired Skills/Abilities:
•    The person will need a strong knowledge of a variety of software applications e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Microsoft
     Office. 
•    Able to inspire and motivate others through the coordination and organization of many different projects. 
•    Strong oral and written communication skills.
•    Have a passion for administration.
•    Think creatively working alongside the Creative Communications Department to communicate the mission, vision, and values of
      Southeast. 
•    Able to delegate responsibility in the development of ministry partners to come alongside projects and serve Southeast with their skills
      and abilities.

Time Requirements:
