Singled Out for God
It is often hard to take the first steps to become involved in any group. However, sometimes it is important to take a step of faith, allowing God to connect us with other people with similar interests and experiences. Community is key to finding meaningful supportive relationships. If you are close to 30 years old or beyond, the Singles Ministry has an open invitation for you. Whether you have never been married, been divorced or widowed, we would like you to come and experience life with us. This ministry is meant to be a secure place for you to grow in Christ and to establish friendships with other single people.
Our group meets as a Sunday morning class as well as sharing fellowship outside the church. We focus on Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. Questions regarding the Singles Ministry can be directed to Bob Donner.
Sunday School Class
The class meets every Sunday morning from 8:50 to 10:30 am in Rooms 209 & 211. Following Sunday School, we have a time of fellowship and refreshments after which we attend the 11:00 am church service. Beginning Sunday, May 10, we're beginning an 8 week study of the Holy Spirit.
Fellowship and Ministry Projects
June 28, 2008. Our annual Singles Luau at Connies. This one is special. We'll be providing directions and additional info as we get closer, but mark your calendar now. This is one you really do not want to miss.
Whether it's Ministry or Fellowship, we have a great time and would enjoy having you join us. We are recruiting for volunteers to take the lead on activities. If you have a passion for having fun and like organizing events let us hear from you.
Singles Retreat
September 5-7, 2008. Our Annual Singles Retreat. We're off to Glen Eyrie in Colorado Springs this year. Guest speaker Daryl Brown will be there to touch our hearts and challenge us to grow. Cost is $120 and due no later than mid July. This will cover lodging, food, facilities for the three days we're there. For more info, contact
