Baptism for Children
At Southeast, children are encouraged to be baptized as soon as they accept Christ as Savior. Children must be mature enough to understand and decide for themselves to accept Christ’s sacrifice for them and follow him as Lord.  A baptism class is offered for children and families who would like to consider baptism.

It is important your child understands the truth about Jesus, since salvation is a personal decision. Prior to registering for the Children’s Baptism Class, please consider engaging your child in a conversation, including the following points.

•    All people are sinners.
•    Jesus is the Son of God.
•    Jesus died on the cross to pay for sin.
•    Forgiveness is through Jesus alone.

If you are unsure about your child’s commitment to Christ, please attend the class so we may come alongside to help clear up any misunderstandings. Repentance, sharing Jesus with others, and the symbolism of baptism will also be discussed.

This is a fun presentation where parents and children (1st grade through 6th grade) are invited to learn what it means to join God's family and have a relationship with Jesus that lasts forever.

The next class is
