UNITE

The Summit Men's Advance was a remarkable event. Men came together to lay down the burdens that were holding them back from the life that God promises. You won't want to miss next year's Advance.

MOBILIZE
Warehouse Ministry
Southeast has launched a warehouse ministry where we collect furniture and appliances to deliver to those in need.  Although this is a highly enjoyable ministry it is also very labor intensive.  As you can imagine there is a lot of lifting involved.  However, this is a great ministry for couples or small groups to do together.  Currently, we are looking for people who would like to serve in the following areas of this outreach: manual labor, driving and administrative help during the week.  If you are interested in serving in any of these capacities please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us. Anthony & Kristen Hayes: 720-842-5620, warehouse.ministry@sechristian.org.

Boys 2 Men 4 Christ: Christian Mentors
Boys 2 Men ministers to boys age 5-12 without a father figure in their lives by building strong loving relationships in order to model healthy Christian living.  Boys 2 Men 4 Christ meets on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Southeast, room 120.  For more information, please contact Kevin Davis at kevin@carmelgroup.biz.

Student Ministries - SeRocks.com
Serve students in grades 5 - 12 through a number of different ways; from discipleship and mentoring to flipping burgers at school barbecues.  Contact Charlie Colgan to find out more information at Charlie.Colgan@sechristian.org

Upward Basketball
The Upward program promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in children ages 4 - 12 through sports activities. If you would like to get involved in coaching or helping out with Upward, please contact John.Leinweber@sechristian.org.

His Allies - Serving Opportunities
If you are a man with a heart to serve, this is where you need to be. The Men’s Ministry has painted a church, painted a home for neglected children, moved single moms, and more. But there is much more we can do.  The men of His Allies are included in email requests for different serving engagements in the surrounding community.  Those who respond, and can attend, work together as a team to bless those who both are members of Southeast and non-members as well.  If you would like to be included in these opportunities please contact us.

Though the Community Impact Project 2010 is over, the needs of our community have not stopped coming in. Applications for help in peoples' homes, yard work and various needs in the community have continued to arrive, and we want to meet these needs with joy. The 'His Allies' team has been commissioned to continue accomplishing Community Impact projects throughout the year. If you have a specific skill such as carpentry, electrical, landscaping, handyman, painting, plumbing, roofing, project management or tile/grout (or if you don't have a specific skill but have the heart to serve!), then we need YOU! Come join these men and be part of a ministry that is the hands and feet of Jesus to people in our community. For more information, please contact His Allies at hisallies@gmail.com
