Day 29
Take time to reflect on the last 28 days. How have you encountered God? What have you heard from him? Have you seen consistent themes or ideas in your journaling? How might you respond back to God?
Day 30
In what areas do you sense a call to grow? What are the “next steps” God might be calling you to? Con-sider setting a goal or creating a plan for the next 30 days. Here are a few ideas that might be helpful:
It is our hope that you have encountered God through the last month and that this has been a very encouraging time for you. As you complete this guide, take a day to reflect back over your experience and how you have encountered God. Use the last day to look ahead and determine what next steps you would like to take in continuing your journey with God.
Select a book of the Bible and start reading a chapter a day. Follow a similar format of reviewing your recent encounters with God, reading a passage from the Bible and responding back to God. A good place to start is the book of John, Mark, Philippians or James.
Elements Bookstore has free Bible reading plans and prayer guides available.
Visit the Encounter section of the Southeast website (sechristian.org). Post stories on how you have encountered God and find resources for your next step.
Meet with a member of the Formation team at Southeast to discuss your journey and possible next steps. We would love to meet with you, send an email to encounter@sechristian.org.
Schedule a monthly time for fasting, maybe one meal or a whole day.
