Single Moms Events at Southeast

Monthly Meeting
We currently meet every 2nd Thursday of the month. (Meet in the Choir Room at church)

A meal is provided at 6:30 p.m. (children too) and then they go off to childcare while the moms participate in a facilitator lead topic. It's a night where you don't have to prepare a meal for your family and it's also an opportunity to simply meet and talk to other single moms about the challenges and blessings of being a single parent. (The night is usually over between 8:15 and 8:30).

"Friends & Fitness" - Be good to yourself every last Friday of the month!
Choose your work-out and make new friends in the process.  7:00pm “Booty Busters” - at Church – no fancy equipment needed – work out using items from around your home  *Work outs last between 1 to 1 ½ hrs.  Contact Lisa Haggarty at  peacefulfun2004@yahoo.com

Single Moms Class - Becoming a Love and Logic Parent
Trained Teacher, Christie Marble, will be teaching a 7 Session Class, just for Single Moms, called   "Becoming a Love and Logic Parent". Love and Logic is a common-sense approach that provides parents easy-to-learn skills that create respect, responsibility and good decision-making in children.  Thursdays, September 22 - November 17. 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Mastering Your Money for Single Moms
Mastering Your Money is a seminar designed to help single mother's develop a budget and a spending plan, as well as provide valuable resources that can assist in managing the household. Join us October 1 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm in the 3rd and 4th Grade Room at Southeast. Cost is $10 and payment is made at the event. To register for this event, please click here >
